Intimate relationships with our partners, children, friends and work associates are pivotal in our lives. When communication is strained or breaks down, how we think about ourselves powerfully affects our present and future. Improving these close relationships brings greater happiness and mental well-being into our lives.
Persons seek therapy when they experience stress, conflict, or loss that cause unhappiness and reduce effectiveness. They are affected negatively by pressures and problems of work, family, and relationships. Individuals come into therapy with their own particular needs shaped by disappointments and failures in some aspect of living in their world. With my guidance, together we create a treatment program which addresses their specific concerns. Individual and group therapy are options depending on which (or both) are appropriate.
