BIOGRAPHY - David Caldwell, LICSW
I've been in private practice as a clinician working with adults and couples in the Washington metropolitan area for more than twenty years.
Prior to opening my private practice, I was a staff psychotherapist at the Southern Community Mental Health Center in the Prince George's Mental Health System. I also served on the clinical staff of the Oxon Hill Professional Group.
Over the years, I have led and co-led a number of groups for males and females. I have helped adults, couples, young adults and adolescents achieve their goals.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts at Wake Forest University and received my Master in Social Work (Clinical) from Catholic University. I received postgraduate training in Strategic Family Therapy, couples training in Imago Therapy
and earned a Certificate in Gestalt Therapy from the Gestalt Training Center of Washington, DC.
I am a member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists and the National Association of Social Workers. I am licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
