Adults
Many people seektherapy when they experience stress, conflict, or loss that causes unhappiness and reduces their ability to cope. Pressures and problems of work, family, and relationships negatively affect their lives. Disappointments and failures in some aspect of living in their world lead them to seek professional help through therapy.
Intimate relationships with our partners, children, family, friends and work associates are pivotal in our lives. When communication is strained or breaks down, how we think about ourselves powerfully affects our present and future. Improving these close relationships brings greater happiness and mental well-being into our lives.
With my guidance, together we create a treatment program which addresses your specific concerns. Individual and group therapy are options depending on which (or both) are appropriate. In collaboration with psychiatric colleagues, medication, when indicated, may be offered as part of your treatment program.
